Dr. Stephen Spillane is a certified Family Partner and has been a Learning Specialist for over thirty years. He was a United States Department of Education Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services fellow at the University of Connecticut. He has in-depth knowledge about learning and information processing styles, and strategies to best meet each client’s unique profile. He has taught in public and private settings from the middle school to graduate level. He has presented at numerous national conferences, consulted at colleges and universities and served as an editor and writer for the HEATH Resource Center. What makes Dr. Spillane unique? He supports families and learners so they understand how they learn, how to apply learning strategies, and most importantly, how to develop their own strategies to maximize their independence.
